RLC holds a seniors Bible study on Tuesday mornings. The fall 2010 session starts on September 14. One Anothering: God's Design for Community Life Place: Room 151Time & Date: Tuesday, 10:30 - 11:30 AM, Sept 14 - Oct 26 Course Description: One of the values that drives ministry at Resurrection is Christian Relationships. We will explore from the New Testament how God has designed us to live in community with Him and one another. Fifty one times in the New Testament, we see a recurring word pattern – an action verb followed by the words ‘one another’. (Love one another is the most frequent – 14 times). Besides ‘love’ there are 32 other action verbs placed before ‘one another’. We will examine 10 of those action verbs placed before one another. We will also offer ways we can put into practice the words from God's teaching into our daily relationships. Method: Presentation of material from leader on Scripture passages to understand the specific action verbs and what they mean. We will also share through small group discussions and frequent discussion questions. |
