Out of an abundance of caution, we will be cancelling all church worship services and activities from Saturday, January 24 through Monday, January 26 because of an imminent winter storm forecasted to begin sometime mid-afternoon on Saturday and extend into the morning on Monday.

We will post a videotaped message from myself and Pastor Zach containing church announcements, sermon, prayers, and other worship content on our church's YouTube channel (youtube.com/@ResurrectionLutheranCary).

You can also look for another email over the weekend with that link. Yet another e-mail announcement will be forthcoming on Monday about what you can expect for events for Tuesday, January 27 and following.

As there will be likely power outages and dangerous road conditions, we pray that all will take time to prepare and do what is possible to help others now, before the bad weather hits. And as we do what we can to stay home and be safe in the days ahead, we continue to keep those who are working throughout the storm... those who bring us the news, those who will be repairing impacted infrastructure, and all our first responders... in our prayers.
