In Nurturing Your Faith: Life to the Full, Rev. Dr. Travis Scholl speaks to the abundant life we have in Jesus Christ. This new life is born of the Spirit’s gift of faith to us that leads to life everlasting. In our present, time-bound faith journey, we humbly follow our Shepherd as He directs our steps, reveling in His creation while loving and serving those around us.
We were born for a God-centered and abundant life. This we have through faith in our risen and victorious Lord Jesus whose life, death, and resurrection have won for us the forgiveness of our sins. As Scripture tells us, “God is love,” and His agape love is of the highest kind. It’s selfless, never-ending, and freely given. And it sets the perfect example of how we should be for others.
