A Study of Heroes of the Faith

Are you curious about some of the less famous men and women in the Bible? Would you like to learn more about their lives, how they responded to God’s call, and how we can apply these lessons to our lives today? The Men’s group will study and discuss some of these using the Heroes of the Faith Series of studies published by Concordia Publishing House.
We will study one person each week. We will learn about the cultural setting and life story of each person, examine the joys and challenges they faced and see how God forgave and empowered them. We will discuss how these lessons can apply to our lives as Christian men today. This year, we will learn about “quiet” heroes of the faith such as Hannah, Zacchaeus, Dorcas and John Mark.
