This class will be an in-depth examination of a topic introduced this past fall in Pastor Jonathan's "Bring Your Questions" class. How can (or how should) Christian theology embrace science?
Using the Bible, a report of the Commission on Theology and Church Relations of the LCMS (In Christ All Things Hold Together), and a variety of other Christian resources, we will discuss the nuanced and multi-dimensional way that science and faith can relate to one another. Topics included will be "Reading God's Word," "Science in the Christian School Classroom," "Theology of the Cross vs. Theology of Glory," and more.
