Our mission for Confirmation is simply, "Providing a toolbox that promotes a lifestyle of following Jesus."
At baptism, parents and sponsors receive God's promises and make promises to be God's instruments in nurturing the faith of the one baptized. Confirmation is part of that life long process.
Confirmation is designed for families of 5th-8th grade students. Young people at this stage learn, develop, and take ownership the professions of their faith. It is also the opportunity to be commissioned into full participation in congregational life. Confirmation is promoting that lifestyle of following Jesus.
Each Wednesday Night Workshop class is designed for the students' physical, spiritual, and emotional needs. Learning about God's Word, living God's Word, and building relationships around God's Word are vital. The church helps equip families to model and teach that faith in the homes.
