Place: Room 151, Family Life Center, and Online via Zoom

The Rock Speaks: Ten Lessons Based on 1 Corinthians 10:4

This 10-lesson Bible study invites readers to explore how Jesus calls them to trust in Him as their rock and salvation. The study is based on 1 Corinthians 10:4: All drank the same spiritual drink. For they drank from the spiritual Rock that followed them, and the Rock was Christ.

Drawing from the author's observations of rocks and soil, words from the Old Testament, and events in the New Testament, the study reveals how Jesus calls all into a deeper understanding of creation and salvation through topics such as sustenance, abundance, life, growth, and more.

Books can be ordered through Concordia Publishing House, ChristianBook.com, or Amazon. Amazon also offers an electronic version in the Kindle store.

Lutheran Women's Missionary League (LWML)

LWML Mission Statement:
As Lutheran Women in Mission, we joyfully proclaim Christ,
support missions, and equip women to honor God by serving others.

Our Mighty Mites

Mite Box offerings are collected at all church services on the first weekend of each month. These offerings, based on the Biblical account of the widow's mite (Luke 21:1-4), fund mission projects chosen annually by the Lutheran Women's Missionary League (LWML).

Please place your gifts in the large purple Mite Box in the Narthex near Sanctuary Worship. The large Mite Box is always available at the Welcome table in the Narthex for gifts anytime during the month.

Gifts can also be made by check, payable to RLW, placed in Donna Krupcale's church mailbox or mailed directly to Donna Krupcale, ℅ Resurrection Lutheran Church, 100 Lochmere Drive West, Cary NC  27518.

Thank you for supporting the mission grants of Lutheran Women in Mission! We want to make sure that all the mission grants are fully funded, and missions are supported. If you need a Mite box, contact either Donna Krupcale or Jamee Thieme through RCB.

LWML Mission Goal Reached!

LWML is overjoyed to announce that God has worked through the generosity and stewardship of its supporters to surpass the LWML Mission Goal for the 2021–2023 biennium of $2,150,000. The mite offerings given total $2,154,511 to date! Praise God from whom all blessings flow!
