Next meeting is March 24, 6:15-7:00 pm - just participants, no parents.
THANK YOU! The City BBQ was a HUGE success! We were able to raise $850 towards our deficit for our trip. City BBQ also said what a nice group we were to work with and our group was their largest turnout at the Cary location. Way to go!
Here’s what’s coming up:
March 22 – Parent’s Night Out
Be there at 6:00 pm to set up and plan on staying until 9:45 pm. *This is our 2nd spring fundraiser to help reduce the deficit in costs of the trip. All of our participants should be there. If you aren’t able to make it, I should know!
March 24 – 2nd Meeting at 6:15-7:00 pm, Covenant Building
April 7 - 3rd Meeting at 6:00-7:00 pm, Airport Awareness
Please note the time change!
Meetings right now are just planned for the youth attending NYG. Parents are always welcome to come and watch the activities. Feel free to ask me questions! Please try to let our adult leaders get to know the youth and build those relationships so that when we leave in July everyone has that warm, fuzzy feeling! A parent meeting will be occurring sometime early June.
If you have not paid the March payment, you are late! Please pay ASAP!
Our group of 35 RLC Youth and 9 Adult Leaders will depart on Tuesday, July 9, 2019 from RDU airport for sightseeing before Gathering begins on Thursday night. We will return on Monday, July 15, 2019.
Adult Leaders are Elizabeth Drengler, Jenny Piontek, Mike Heffner, Cyndy Vagle, Erika Hulse, Steve Cottle, Diane Hooper, and Lea Webb.
Who is going on the National Youth Gathering?
March 3rd payment is due now! Envelopes are in your church mailbox.
Total cost per person is $1,350. With congregational support and fundraising, participants pay about $600. Most churches do not offer that kind of support and participants foot the total bill. We are totally blessed!
Active SCRIP program participants will receive a $150 discount.
$75 discount per fundraiser in which youth participates.
Registration is closed.
No refunds for cancellations. Participants who drop out will still be responsible for full trip cost.
